I have a website I recently created, www.save-kellen.com, and I am
wondering how I can get my story, and the website, mentioned in the
news. Television or Radio is more or less what I'm aiming for. Is
there a way to get my story out there? I have tried submitting it all
over the internet, but with little or no luck. Sorry about the money,
I don't
have much right now.
Thank you

I wish you the best, but to be perfectly frank, neither the website
nor your story seems particularly newsworthy to me. I suggest that you
concentrate your efforts on finding good legal representation rather
on seeking publicity.

Sounds like you got a rough deal, Kellen.

But Pinkfreud is right, with a good lawyer, you should be able to
prove to the courts that you are not guilty.

Kellen,

I feel for you, BIG Bummer. Your story and web site have the ring of
truth, I believe you, although I'm sure that's not much comfort. Keep
posting the link everywhere. Make it your signature file in emails,
print business cards with the site URL, pass them out and post them
everywhere.

Good luck to you and God Bless you.

Thanks for the support guys... The reason for the publicity was to
help me raise the money I need for the legal defense. Some people
believe me, some don't, and only half of what's left care... But the
publicity could help me raise the money I need, so I figured I would
ask as my time is running out.

Hire a public relations firm. The "news" is often decided by what pr
firms feed to journalists. Sad, but apparently true. I have seen
multiple articles on this. Here is one:

You would need to create a newsworthy press release. The best press
releases are actually complete news stories, so you might try to find
a writer who's willing to donate some time (or is willing to work
cheap) to help you. Once you have a press release you can mail or fax
or email it to various news organizations.

The trick here is that the release must be newsworthy...it must read
like any other news story.
