I am trying to find out what a typical programmer and designer would
make in their own country on average.

Countries of interest include India, Romania, Ukraine, Egypt, and any
other popular outsourcing locations.

Services rendered include Programming, Design, and Web Design work.

www.Salary.com is a great way to find out averages within the USA.  I
am trying to find out other countries.

Another way to look at it is, how much do they make against their
costs of living?

On a yearly or hourly basis.  Or a source to find out more information.

Thanks for the sources of deep detailed reporting on salaries.

I was hoping to get a rough idea from someone who may actually know
some of the averages, or a simple way to figure it out wihtou having
to pay for individual reports.

Trying to find out just so I can understand when people from these
countries bid on a job and how their bid relates to the actual average
amount made in their country.

Does anyone know some possible numbers? or a way to find out simple
numbers without paying per report?
