Question ID: 773483
I am current VZW customer in the US and am looking for specific
instructions and validated success of using a PDA/Smartphone with MS
operatiing system and BlackBerry Connect software. I realize that
this configuration is not currently supported by VZW, but understand
that it is possible.

My company supports a Blackberry Enterprise server and I will
subscribe to a VZW blackberry data plan. I need to know how to obtain
the BBC software for any specified PDA/Smartphone, How to load the
software, how to obtain necessary Blackberry PIN, etc to have the
device recognized by VZW.

I am also willing to switch to T-mobile as a cellular carrier if necessary.

many Thanx if ya can help out.
Cheers,
Tom

Hello pakdog,

It seems that you would only be able to do this with Cingular.
T-Mobile has Blackberry Connect functionality but only in the UK with
a PDA and in America with a simple clamshell phone. Verizon says that
they will get the capability but right now it's only supported on GSM
services like Cingular and T-Mobile. If you want further information
about Cingular and connecting with a PDA with Cingular service to
Blackberry Connect, I'd be glad to help you with that.
