I would like to instal 2 voice recognirtion softwares in iMAC 10.4.7 .
I already have MacSpeech i-Listen and would like to add IBM
Viavoice... iListen is accurate and quick to 95 percent BUT has a
very poor dictionary, learns too slowly, command words are awkward,
endless and finicky. Cursor movement & keyboarding can only be used
in correction mode...
ViaVoice (formerly used it on iMAC10.1) is slow at first BUT has an
excellent dictionary, is quick & easy to correct or train a new word.
Command words are simple, easily remembered, and the cursor obeys
commands... and ViaVoice will read back any selected text, anywhere.
My physical disabilities would prefer viavoice for imaginative
writing but i-Listen for quicker E-mailing. Has anyone tried
installing both in Tiger?? Or have info wrt this possibility?
