What was the month and day [mmdd] that Mexican ambassador Juan Almonte
arrived in New York City in mid-1835 on his goodwill tour?

littlewood-ga,

I have not found mention of Sr Almonte's actual arrival in NYC, but I
can place him at a function in the Mayor's office on a specific date
in 1935.  You can see mention of it in this article snippet:

Would the full details of the article -- dates and all -- make for a
