Hi, I get this requestor from Windows Installer everytime I boot and it comes up a dozen times at least.. the string I was able to copy is: C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{54C0D94A-F467-4ABC-9D02-6E58748668D4}\ I want to get rid of it. Thank you. -Mao |

run msconfig and remove related line in the startup tag |

Also check these registy files by going to Start --> Run --> Regedit then scroll down to the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run see if there are any weird random character file names. Be careful not to delete anything you are not sure of. |

Hi, can U pls check windows installer which version is this ..... try to get windows patch with windows installer 3.0... try to add windows patch ..still u have problem ...Feel free to revert me... Regards, Srinivas Sekhar. |

This sometimes happens to me after i run a registry cleaner program and I dont have the original install files on the computer. |
