I've decided to upgrade my old yhoo msg and it doesnt connect due to some weird proxy pblms that I've tried to fix using yhoo msg help tools. Please advise if you have any answers to this. I don't think it is the firewall. I have the same pblm w. Skype. What is wrong with my laptop? Thank you. |

It is a bit offtopic... but I suggest you using Live Messenger (MSN) - it is much better and you can chat over Yahoo protocol using Live Messenger... Philip Seyfi, fs-studio |

Do you have a router? You may want to open some ports, if so. If it is a machine specific problem check your iptables and perhaps disable your proxy. |

If you're using a router, head to portforward.com which might help. |
