My ex-wife and I filed joint (GA)Ch 7 bankruptcy in March 2004. She
reaffirmed the financing on her car. The reaffirmation has both our
names on the document, but only she signed and the lawyer we used.
I've been told I'm not obligated in any way, but it still shows up
under my credit report. In addition, it has since been repossessed.
Is the reaffirmation valid since we both didn't sign? And if valid,
Who is obligated?
