I have a traditional eight page digital document (each page being 8.5x11 inches) which I would like to transform into a booklet using two 11x17 pages. Can anyone breakdown how to accomplish this task and/or what tools I need. I have a whole whack of software at my disposal including all Adobe & Microsoft products. If the task cannot be performed using only adobe/microsoft products. What widely available software (preferably software that has a mac version) can easilly get the job done? | |

Those are HUGE pages ... You will have to find someone with an A3 printer (unless you have one?). Enquire at any print shop; if they can do it, they will certainly be able to format it for you. If you wish to format it yourself you could print out in A4 and paste them into a larger format. This is known as 'camera ready' copy. The printshop would then do the rest. Sorry if I've used UK terminology but you'll know what I mean. Good luck! |

OK ... Here's what you do in Word: Go to Tools > Options > General And set Measurement Units to 'Inches'. Then go to File > Page Setup > Paper And set the Paper Size to 11 by 17 |
