Question ID: 775335
I am urgently trying to find a disposable camera factory in China.
There are many companies saying they are the factory when they are
actually just trading companies. My competitors are finding disposable
cameras based on 12 exposures, recycled cases and film cases with 4c
process card jackets and PP bag packing for USD0.32 based on 180,000
units. I am getting prices of USD0.49 for the same.
I am only interested in factories with a comparable price to my competitors.

Howdy lordgaz-ga,

As pricing for products such as this are usually negotiated, a researcher
will generally find some likely leads, and then leave it the questioner
to check if that is going to fill their needs.

To that end, have you looked into the following two companies?

Beaver Hills International
http://www.beaverhillshk.com/

PMC Camera
http://www.pmccolor.com/

If one of above pans out for you, please tell me so I will post this as
the answer to your question. Thanks!

No, these are trading companies/agents purporting to be manufacturers.
I have negotiated with both of these companies in the past and their
prices are actually quite high.

Howdy lordgaz-ga,

According to this article, all of the following are manufacturers of
disposable cameras, and major players at that. Most, if not all, have
a disposable camera product with a recycled case.

Hi,
Thanks for your efforts, but I am sorry that all these are trading
companies - I had read the Global Sources artical previous to this
inquiry., (it is common in China to claim to have their own factory -
but they are just middlemen. These people will buy the ready loaded
recycled cameras and pack them in the jackets using their own workers
at their own factory - I need the source of the camera.)
I have been in contact with these people in the past.

lordgaz-ga,

Have a look at these guys:

http://www.duolilong.com/

Click on "disposable cameras" on the left-hand side, to see what they offer.

They appear to be OEM manufacturers, as far as I can tell.

Let me know how it works out.

http://www.duolilong.com/ are trading company who just order from a
factory and pack on their premises.
They are not a dedicated manufacturer.
Sorry researchers - this is a tough question.
I think I had better close it and get out to China!
