Hello, creative people. We are developing a sofware application to
help loan professionals to track their loans. The software will
allow the mortgage companies to input and track the status of their
loans. Similar to Encompass but on a much smaller scale. I'm looking
for a catchy name.

We've just been calling the project Loan Tracker but thought we should
come up with a few other names since that domain is taken. Hoping we
could find something with an available domain name. It doesn't need
to have the word loan in the name. However, it is going to be
marketed toward businesses so nothing too cutesy. Any suggestions?

Loan Star may be a little cutesy, but I think it works,
and it's not as groan-up as Loan State Star... : )

How about:

track-a-loan

Thought it might suggest that they can keep track of things on their
own using your software.
Some other thoughts:
Loan Locator
Capital assessor, Loan Assessor
Lending Status
Lending Worth

Loanscope would work nicely but the domain is taken,

thought trackaloan would've worked but that too was taken,

Make your software track 600 accounts and call it ChiTAL, Chi=600 TAL=Track A Loan

Chi
(upper case ?, lower case ?) is the 22nd letter of the Greek alphabet.
In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 600. The 'ch' in
'chi' is a voiceless palatal fricative. In front of "light" vowels (e,
i, oi, ai, y) it is prounounced like the 'ch' in German 'ich' or some
variants of 'h' in the English 'hew' or 'human'. In front of "dark"
vowels (a, o, ou) and of consonants, it is pronounced like the 'ch' in
German 'ach' or in Scottish 'loch'.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chi_(letter)

if you look up the Chital in google;

The chital (also spelled "cheetal") is a large spotted deer which
commonly inhabits wooded regions of Sri Lanka and most of India. It
has also been introduced to Australia. Its coat is reddish fawn,
marked with white spots, and its underparts are white. Its antlers,
which it sheds anually, curve in a lyre shape and may extend to 75 cm.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chital

You can make the spotted deer your brand mascot and contribute ten
percent of profits from the sales of ChiTAL to safeguard the Cheetal's
environment. As luck would have it Chital.com is for sale...

Well, being flippant SharkWare comes to mind (it's taken anyway).

I would avoid 'mortgage' as that excludes other forms of loans.

lamtracker.com is not taken ( Loan And Mortgage Tracker )

A danger that it would be called Lame Tracker
