See this URL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokosuka,_Kanagawa under the heading "Meiji period and later". Reference is made to a complete survey done in 1992 of all known caves. I want to obtain this survey -- where/how can this be found? Ideally I'd like to find a copy of it online; but any attainable source/copy would be ok. |

Here's a relevant article: "Yokosuka cave network dug by Japanese during World War II sealed," by Juliana Gittler (March 7, 2005) Stars and Stripes http://stripes.com/article.asp?section=104&article=26713&archive=true |
