Hello xplorr,

It does not seem that you would want a job in Dubai or have much
likelihood of getting one unless you are Indian or Pakistani. This is
because for simple construction jobs the pay is not as great as
workers from other countries can find elsewhere.

The jobs that are advertised on foreign websites are mostly management
positions such as project manager or surveyor. Jobs such as mobile
crane operator are hired on the spot to migrant workers who simply
show up in Dubai itself.

To be hired in a job such as mobile cranes, you may want to just
arrive in Dubai (you get a one-month visa upon entry) and go to the
construction companies themselves and present yourself for work.

Here is a list of construction jobs that are available:

Learn4Good Jobs in UAE
http://www.learn4good.com/jobs/language/english/list/construction/united_arab_emirates_uae/

Study that list of companies and contact them prior to going to Dubai
and ask if they have a need for mobile crane operators.

Here is a further list of recruitment groups hiring for Dubai in the
construction area:

Your best bet, though, is to just show up in Dubai and find work that way.

Finally, read through some of these links and you may reconsider
wanting a job in Dubai.

Considering that mobile crane operator is highly skilled job, and
that it is estimated 25% of all cranes operating in the world are in
Dubai, it is hard to believe there is such a dearth of postings.

thanks
Doug
