I need basic market research on consumers who buy cell phones and
calling plans online within the USA. I need to know answers to the
following questions applicable to selling cell phones and calling
plans through a web site. Answers sought should be specific and not
generalized. Their sources should be cited as well.

1.	What is customers? biggest frustration when shopping for a cell phone?

2.	What is customers? biggest problem or challenge with finding a
phone that performs and/or does tasks as they need it to?

3.	What are the top ten stresses, fears, or causes of failure to close
sales in the wireless telecom market online?

4.	What specific quantifiable data backs up the validity of these
stresses, fears, or causes of failure (i.e. the proof about why they
should be afraid, worried, or stressed?)

5.	When choosing a provider/vendor in the mobility market what are the
criteria used for selection?

6.	What are the top 5 reasons a customer will seek out our products or
services (cell phones and calling plans?)

7.	What are the top 5 results customers want to produce when they buy in our niche?

8.	What is the average sales cycle in our niche (i.e. time from first
contact to purchase?)

9.	What is the average customer life span in our niche?

10.	Who are the top vendors in our niche online (i.e. the competition?)

11.	Who has been in business the longest and who has been selling cell
phones and/or mobile calling plans online the longest?

12.	What are the primary factors that influence, motivate, and cause a
customer to purchase a cell phone and calling plan online?

13.	What is the size of the wireless telecom market in terms of annual
expenditures? Can you break this down by both online and offline
markets please?

14.	Which company seems to be the most expensive to deal with on a
business to consumer basis?

15.	Which company seems to be the least expensive to deal with on a
business to consumer basis?

16.	What are the various market segments and what is their average
age, financial position, gender (i.e. teenagers, aged 13 to 19, and
salary bracket, female/male?)

17.	What are the best resources online for cell phone user/owner demographics?

18.	What are the top 5 biggest regrets that cell phone users have
after purchasing a new cell phone?

There is one more question that for some reason did not get copied
correctly into my original post. That question is:

19.	What are the top 5 backend upsells that competitors are using to
increase the value of a customer? (i.e. complimentary products and
services.)

Finding answers to all of these is a daunting task to undertake, since
a Researcher will not be able to receive any compensation unless all
the information is found. You might get better results by posting each
of these items as a separate question.
