I've been all over - from floppy disks to CD's to DVD's to flash drives (quite good), to Yahoo Photos (horrible) to free250.com (i don't think is good....BASICALLY I HAVE ABOUT 500 PICTURES. I already mastered how to conveniently save and view them by using a flash drive. What I want now is to know what WEBSITE I can upload them all to on the Internet, with quick access. So I want to be able to UPLOAD them (preferably a place that focuses on this issue, thus allowing mass uploads or drag and drop), and then the site will let me log in and click thru the pics conveniently and quickly - IN FULL SIZE - not scaled down to tiny proportions like Yahoo, for example. Pay, or non pay. I'm assuming maybe the pay ones would suit my needs better! |

http://photobucket.com/ Pro accounts ($25/year) allow up to 10,000 photos up to 2048x1536 and allows uploading via FTP. Can't find info on the limits for free accounts. http://reg.imageshack.us/ Image size limit is 1.5MB, no # of photos limit. |

How about setting up a GMAIL account and just logging in whenever you need to see the pics? |

The best way to do this is to run your own website. In order to do this you need two things: Domain (the name of the site, like www.google.com is a domain) Hosting (this is what makes the site online for viewers worldwide) You can purchase a domain for an average of $8-$10. I would suggest godaddy.com. In terms of hosting it's are your preference. Things to think about when deciding on hosting: Disk Space (how much you can put on the site, check the image sizes and do some math) Bandwidth (bandwidth is used whenever someone visits your site, downloads something, uploads something, views an image, etc.) Reliability - Make sure the company is legit, and has good uptime. For cheap hosting check out these sites: www.StackedTech.com www.PenguinHosting.com www.eHost.net You will also need to learn basic HTML to be able to make a page that has links to all the images. www.w3schools.com is a very helpful website with great html tutorials. |

As you don't actually want the webpage you would be better off with free hosting. the best one at the moment is awardspace.com it offers a large amount of space and features for a free one it will also give you a free subdomain (AD FREE) and if you don't want to design a webpage you can access it all through ftp:// Cheers Pulsar101 |
