Question ID: 776446
I have a Mac (OX 10.3.5) and want to convert a scene from a DVD and
put in an iMovie project.
The DVD is encrypted. However I have Mac the Ripper and so can burn
onto an unencrypted DVD if that helps.
I have tried Handbrake but I think it requires 10.3.9 or better. DiVa
is another option recommended but can't get that working.
I'm not that Comp savvy and get confused when I getting VOB and
VIDEO_TS files - don't really know what they mean.
So what is the easiest (free) way to get DVD to iMovies.
Surely it can't be that tricky!!!

DiVA now "seems" to be working I think I needed 3ivx_d4-oxs (if that
means anything to you) which I now have. However the scene is super
fast with no sound.
I'm still looking for help with this, or an alternative so any advice
will still be paid.
Thanks.
