It happened again. Willis Alan Ramsey played a concert earlier this
month and I found out about it after the event. I read about it on
Wikipedia of all places. I guess if I'm looking for a specific answer
it is this: How do I get a hold of the new album that Willis has
finished (it was produced by Jamie Oldaker)? And where and when is
Willis playing in the next year?

According to this article by Eric Harrison in the Houston Chronicle,
he also played at McGonigel's Mucky Duck in Houston on October 9th.

And the name of the new album is Gentilly, and it won't be released
for another 3-4 months, according to Ramsey's manager, Ken Kushnick:

"Ramsey plans to sell the record on his Web site and at his concerts

Until the last couple of years, when he began working on the album
in earnest, Ramsey played a handful of dates per month, said Kushnick.
He's renewing that schedule now that the album is in the final stages
 of mixing.

He'll begin an extensive tour when it is finished."

You might try contacting Ken Kushnick about his scheduled appearances:

formal answer. If it's helpful but not worth the current price
on the question, in your view, you could also reduce the price
to what would make this a 5-star answer.
