Question ID: 776490
I currently own a webcam capable of recording 30 frames per second of
video at 1280x1024pixel resolution. Using MSN, Skype, and yahoo
messenger I find the quality of the image is nowhere near what my
camera is capable of, and when I compare the image to my iSight(using
iSight) there is no comparisson).

I've also noticed MSN is using 45-50kbps of my connection when
connected while my iSight uses +250kbps.

I am looking for a reasonably priced (<$100/license) webcam messaging
service that is able to take advantage of my broadband connection
providing picture
the best picture quality possible given my hardware. All parties
chatting will have a 24mbps/5mbps connection.

I would settle for an easy to use video conferencing software package
that would allow me to video chat with multiple parties at once but
this is not a necessity.

Quality and ease of use are the main things i'm looking for. MSN has
the ease of use but lacks severely in the quality department.

In my question I say MSN Messenger... I am currently using Windows
Live Messenger (MSN Messenger's replacement).

Update:
I have recently tried Signspeed... it does use more bandwidth but
sadly the quality isnt as high as Windows Live Messenger (which is bad
to begin with :( )

Hello studolicious,

Hmmm, it's interesting that SightSpeed didn't even have the quality of
Windows Live Messenger! I've read before that it's the best on the
market.

Does this software suffice?

It costs £99, about 180 US dollars. It is, however, touted as High Definition.
