I'm looking to obtain a single set of 2003 baseball cards that
contains at least one card for each of the following players.  What I
need to know is the identity of the set - for example, "Topps 2003
Total Baseball Set" or "2003 Upper Deck MVP Set" - along with the card
number for each of the following players:

players you have listed omits 3 of these players:

Vander Wal, John RF MIL
Biddle, Rocky RP MON
Beck, Rod RP SD

After further research I was still unable to find anything closer than
what I previously clarified. However, the set that excludes the 3
players mentioned, also contains cards of 6 players in your list with
different teams than you have provided.

Still seems fine.  The 6 players being on different teams is
absolutely no matter - I only included the player teams and positions
on my original list to facilitate searching for them.
