I'm looking for the artist and title of a song. Unfortunately, all i
know about it is that it appeared in a dj-set done by James Lavelle
for the 'Breezeblock' radio show on BBC Radio 1. I believe it was
broadcasted in july or august 1999.
It appears in the set just after 'Beasty Boys - I don't know'.
Please listen to the song at http://l0l0.de/tmp/unknown.mp3.

I'd also be very happy if someone had the complete track-list of the
set!

Thank you.

Hi zaph0d.

I believe the track you are referring to is "Jagger the Dagger" by
Gene McDaniels. It's on the 1971 album "Headless Heroes of the
Apocalypse".

Here's a page where you can read about the artist and the other tracks
on this album and even buy it - Yahoo Shopping | Music
http://shopping.yahoo.com/shop?d=product&id=1921386259&clink=dmpr-hm-rp/ha

You can even listen to a sample of "Jagger the Dagger" to confirm it
is the track you wanted identified.

Another page with a review of the album, at Pitchfork Media:
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/m/mcdaniels_eugene/headless-heroes-of-the-apocalypse.shtml

I hope this sets your mind at ease!
