I have been trying to get into Dmoz directory, but I haven?t be able
to do it any suggestions on what to do?, any good tips?.

To get more specific suggestion, can you perhaps post URL of your site
here, or at least the category.

Suggestion by canadianhelper-ga is useful;
 for some of the excluded categories e.g. 

Product Listings

 there are other venues (e.g. froogle). Hoewever, to provide a specific advice,
 I would neeed to know  more about your site. There are no 'universal tricks'.
