I must advise not to do any business with them. They are not at all trustworthy.
Most important: No company of that name is listed in the official
Indonesian companies register.
But there is more. I found their company profile at a
business-to-business marketplace website. They claim that to exist
since 2001 and to have annual sales between 15 and 25 million
US-dollars. If that were true, they would be a rather important
company.
However, they don't even have their own website. It is extremely
unlikely that a company making annual multi-million sales that claims
to be in business for half a decade has not yet managed to do
something as essential as setting up a website in all those years.
Even more revealing is the fact that the name of this "company"
appears only on obscure business-to-business online marketplaces where
anyone can post offers and pretend to be a company without being
checked for being legit. Those B-2-B sites are the preferred field of
activity for scammers with fake companies. After 5 years in business,
a real company of this kind would have left lots of marks on the Web.
It is almost unnecessary to mention that this company is not listed in
the Indonesian telephone directory.
Finally, an interesting observation I made in their company profile.
They present themselves with a small business logo. But instead of
"BCE" for Bandung City Electronics, it reads "BEC". As I found out, it
is simply the logo of Bandung Electronic Center, the shopping center
where Bandung City Electronics is allegedly located. The scammers
stole that logo, obviously hoping that no one would notice that the
acronym is wrong.
So Bandung City Electronics is just another Indonesian fraud company.
I recommend not to do any business with them.
