Just went to a "Business On The Net" seminar in Melbourne yesterday(
being Saturday). It was in their interest to claim huge figures for
internet users and internet shoppers so I was just wondering if
somoene had some independant figures on same type of data they were
using to push their business that may be more reliable, or in fact
could be exactly the same of course.

 They were saying that at last best estimate there was app.938,000,000
internet users. They gave a figure for how many of those were regular
shoppers but I have just forgotten that one but perhaps whoever
supplys info could supply the latest estimate figure for that one too
please.

If possible could someone please advise approximately how many new
users there is coming on line each day, even if that figure is a
derived figure from how mnay in 2004, then 2005 then extrpolated with
some expected accuarcy, or whatever method one would use that had some
integrity.If figure of 938,000,000 is even remotely accurate then 
first time users added to figure each and every day would be a few
thousand a day Yes??? No???

Not especially Bobbie as it appears you have done pretty well as i
have just spent a while going through the info provided on sites you
provided. However if not too difficult do you think you could
ascertain how many new users come on line each day,( staitistically on
average) but if you give that your best shot and come up short thats
OK as you answered the basic question I  must concede.
