I need to buy an RJ45 ADSL modem to connect to my router. I cannot seem to find anywhere that does them. I need one or more links to web based companies that sell RJ45 ADSL modems in the UK. Obviously the cheapest available is the main concern, and I am ideally looking at spending no more that 60-70 pounds if I can. The modem should have one RJ11 port and one RJ45 port >> I dont need a router. Obviously however, if a router is cheaper than a modem then that would be preferable (stranger things happen) | |

Hir shubb-iceman, This page, written by Christopher Spry, is worth a look (won't tell you where to find a modem for sale, but is a wealth of information). "ADSL in the UK". © Christopher Spry http://www.cspry.co.uk/computing/adsl_uk.html Best, hummer |

Some while ago I noticed what I think was just what you want - on www.scan.co.uk. Unfortunately in terms of answering your question, it was on their Today Only page - which has obviously changed since then. But they do have this - LN4337 MRI ADSL Router + Ethernet 66.98 (inc. vat) - but beware their high postage costs (£7 I would guess for this). |
