Strip lighting is an alternative to neon lighting, which was used to
light up the insides of commercial signs... like the ones you see on
the front of stores, malls, etc. The LED strip lighting has also been
referred to as LED rails or ropes. It is a string of LED lights that
are used as a lighting source. They are placed inside of a companies
logo/sign. The completed signs (casing & light source) are called
Channel Letters.
