Hi dick4622: According to the website for the Mandeville Special Collections Library http://orpheus.ucsd.edu/speccoll/ the Dr. Suess collection http://orpheus.ucsd.edu/speccoll/collects/seuss.html was acquired in two separate batches on October 5, 1992 and September 13, 1995.
