Where can I find some prices for transportation of containers by ship? I am in particular interested in the costs of transportation from ports in Africa to ports in Europe and the US, but information on other ports and destinations would also be useful. The information is needed for comparison of costs of transportation of products like cotton, coffee, cocoa and tea from various destinations in developing countries to the main markets. Magnitudes and trends would also be fine if day-to-day or actual/current prices cannot be obtained. Maybe some of the shipping lines publish their rates - or maybe there is some kind of common portal/platform where one can see some spot-prices ? |
