I have signed up with Be (http://www.bethere.co.uk) in the UK, who
provide an Alcatel SpeedTouch 780WL ADSL/Wifi/Router with the package.
It has two VoIP ports which have QoS enabled.

However, I would like to enable QoS routing on the Ethernet port on
the modem. It's accessible using the CLI interface, but I have no idea
how to set it up. Could you provide me with the correct configuration
settings?

sammmie...

The CLI Guide for the SpeedTouch? 780(WL) R6.1.0 is available from
this page on the SpeedTouch site. The R5.4.0 version doesn't offer
a CLI Guide:
http://www.speedtouch.com/support.htm

In looking through it, I see Eth commands, which don't seem to be
related to QoS, and IPQoS commands, which don't seem related to
the ethernet port, but are pertinent to an ATM address, such as
is seen in the example under IPQoS Commands -> ipqos config:
atm_pvc_8_35. The default (suggested) values are provided. The
"correct" settings are usually discovered by trial and error,
and what works best for your system.

Let me know where this takes you...
