Hello cheofarabia,

Thank you for your question.

There are currently 10,229 Saudi Arabian students studying in the US;
last spring there were 4,500.

March 2006:

Middle East Finance and Economy
"Part 1: Saudi Arabia looks eastwards for higher education"
http://www.ameinfo.com/81824.html

"Over 4,500 Saudi students are currently based in the United States,
with just over 2,000 in the UK and 1,000 in Canada."

September 2006:

MSNBC
"U.S. schools compete for Saudi students"
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14743889/

"Saudi Embassy spokesman Nail Al-Jubeir said 90 percent of the 10,229
Saudi students the U.S. State Department has registered for the fall
semester will also get such scholarships."

Search terms:
saudi students us
"2500..10000 saudi students"
"2500..15000 saudi students"

If you need any additional clarification, let me know and I'll be glad to help you.
