Hello topher28,
Thank you for your question.
This is most likely a scam.
First of all, on their "homepage", PT Jahn Abadi says that they export
30-40% of their goods, they have annual revenues of $10-50 million per
year, and they have assets of up to $100 million.
Oh, really?
If a company has assets of $100 million and annual revenues of $50
million, they will most likely NOT be located in Indonesia. If the
owners are Indonesian, they will move to a different country where it
is easier to do business. Therefore, it is wise to be suspicious of
any company doing business from Indonesia online, especially one that
claims to be a huge company.
This company does not even have its own homepage, but instead has page
on ECPlaza. Why would a huge exporter of goods do that? They would
not.
There are many, many suspicious things about this alleged company.
--When you hit inquire now, you are sent to an ECPlaza form mail made
out to the person who is supposedly the owner of this $100 million
business. With millions of dollars, especially in Indonesia, I would
think that he would have a few employees to read emails.
--In order to purchase from them, you need to be a member of ECPlaza.
Why wouldn't they just get their own website?
--The company has a public counter on their site, which is
unprofessional. There have also only been 115 visitors to that site.
In other words, this company is not legitimate; if you order from
them, you might not get your goods and I recommend against that.
If you need any additional clarification, let me know and I'll be glad
to assist you.
