What is the difference between a Computer Information Systems (CIS)
Major and a Management Information Systems Major (MIS)?  Can a MIS
degree get you the same kind of jobs as a CIS degree?

MIS is for people to dumb to get into a CIS program.  (according to a
Prof I once had).

The more practical side is CSI is more programming based, where MIS is
more network and management based.

CSI writes.
MSI implements.

And then you go into CS (Computer Science) which is more of a
programming degree as oppose to where CIS does not just focus on
programming. Correct?
