I am looking for a company that specializes in Search Engine
Optimization, locally. I am located in Hilton Head Island, South
Carolina. I hired a firm out of California, and they do not understand
my business or my market. My company is luxury vacation rentals of
homes and villas, on Hilton Head Island. A smaller firm might be
better since my company is small, and I am willing to spend between
$1,500 -$2,000 a month. If I can't find a good local company, at least
one that will understand my market and business, and who can provide
the personal attention needed to get the job done right.

Hi, 
I have not tried either of those companies listed. Are there
designations people can have to be "certified" in SEO? It's very hard
for me to compare one company from the next. The fact that Anderson
does not have any content on their own website about Search
Optimization, leads me to believe that search optimization is not a
focus of theirs, so I wouldn't look to them.

But the other 3 look good. With so many out there, I don't know how
important it is that they are local. Is there a directory or a list of
companies that have received awards???
