the powers that be were offended by my earlier question and removed it. you were the only researcher to comment, so there was no real competition. however, as a one-year member of the pfc, i would be honored to have you answer one of my questions. i was going to ask you to answer a snide GA-related question, but that would probably just get deleted and cost me another $0.50. so i'll just ask the most innocuous question i can think of instead: what is your favorite kind of pie? i will make up the difference between this price and the original price with a tip, to minimize rewarding the wrong people. please hurry and answer, who knows how long this question will remain available. -a foul-mooded cab |

Cab, It's very kind of you to post this for me. I had fun with your other question while it lasted. I am very fond of many varieties of pie, but if I had to pick just one, I'd choose lemon meringue pie. If the crust is a bit flaky and the filling is a little tart, and the meringue is light and fluffy without being tough, a nice piece of lemon meringue pie is the closest I'm likely to get to heaven in this life. Come to think of it, I'm a lot like that slice of pie. A bit flaky, a little tart, and fluffy without being tough. I hope your mood improves. Have a piece of pie. :-) Best wishes, Pink (I am not Jeraboo) |

that's in my top five too. my favorite (tho possibly for sentimental reasons) is my dad's mince meat pie, which he makes only once a year, at christmas, from scratch. thanks for playing. -cab |

A lovely description and simile! It does seem that someone is getting touchier about certain types of questions. Has going public taken the humor out of the system? I noticed that there was no Halloween embellishing of the big multi-color name, maybe a ghost with the double Os as eyes or the like. You know what I mean. ?? |

> there was no Halloween embellishing of the big multi-color name There was - either it was different in your country or you looked on the wrong day. After all it's easy to confuse oct31 with dec25. |
