I have a Bose home theatre system and I can't get rid of the reverb
even at low volume.
What do I do to correct it?

I think Bose uses a trick to get more bass, and, since it is slightly
out of phase, you can hear a bit of reverb.

On your bass unit, you should hear sound coming from two different
spots. If you can cover one of them, that should get rid of the
reverb.
