I am an amateur historian, and have set as a goal to read a "classic" biography of all the presidents. I'm looking for recommendations, in particular for Woodrow Wilson (seems to be sparse) and Thomas Jefferson (too many to choose from!). Best for me would be to find one that I can listen to (Audible or other books-on-tape services), but just knowing the choices would be a great benefit. Thanks, Peter

Hi pllevin, These two annotated bibliographies appear to be a reliable and helpful place to start: "Wilson Selected Bibliography" American President (Miller Center of Public Affairs, University of Virginia) http://www.americanpresident.org/history/woodrowwilson/biography/resources/Articles/wilsonselectedbibliography.article.shtml "Selected Jefferson Bibliography" American President (Miller Center of Public Affairs, University of Virginia) http://www.americanpresident.org/history/thomasjefferson/biography/resources/Articles/selectedjeffersonbibliography.article.shtml They include a list of 13 biographies of Woodrow Wilson (plus some books that focus on his presidency and pre-presidency specifically), and 7 biographies of Thomas Jefferson. I don't want to presume which of these biographies you'd prefer. But if you'd like, I could find out whether any particular biographies are available in an audio form. Please let me know by requesting clarification. - justaskscott Search strategy: Searched on Google for combinations of these terms: jefferson "woodrow wilson" bibliography "annotated bibliography"
