I am trying to find a comprehensive list of live music
venues/promoters in England that currently put on rock n roll bands.

The aim is to have a downloadable Excel compatible file that has
several columns containing venue information.  For example, name of
venue, address, contact name and telephone number, email, website,
etc.

I realise that not every venue will have a website or email address
but I would still like them to be included in the results.

I would like the results in some kind of geographical order, for
instance, it could be ordered by region, i.e. Manchester in the North
West.

I found this website which lists the largest cities in the UK:
http://www.lovemytown.co.uk/Populations/TownsTable1.htm.  Perhaps the
best option is to find a reasonable number of venues in each English
city.  Suitable venues/promoters would obviously need to cater for our
genre of music, feel free to take a listen at www.wireddesire.co.uk. 
They must also not have a ?pay-to-play? system where tickets need to
be sold, because this is unfeasible if touring.

Please don?t include Scottish results because we are based in Glasgow
and I already have enough information.  If you come across others
elsewhere in the UK then they would be good.

The main purpose of this is to gather enough venue information to
start a tour.  This will hopefully benefit others looking to do the
same.  Please give an indication if this question is fairly valued for
this amount of work.
