This is my first question on google answers so please bare with me If
I haven't been specific enough or done this correctly.

I am doing an analysis of a private equity, startup company.  The
company is http://www.mehow.tv , a company specializing in the new
niche market of "dating products and services" , under the self
improvement market.  The company plans to make revenue through product
sales being online sales (Products such as DVDS, BOOKS) and Seminars
and Instruction fees.

  Two rather successful competitors in the exact same niche market are
http://www.mysterymethod.com (Seminars and Instruction, with a couple
products) and http://www.daviddeangelo.com (David Deangelo of Double
Your Dating, main revenue from product sales, affiliates etc.)

As all of the companies directly related are not public, I'm not sure
how I could find financial information, company progress, revenue,
growth rate, etc.

So my goal is to find a firm as closely related as possible to a small
private equity startup company in the dating/self improvement market. 
If a self improvement company that is public is what you believe is
the closest match, that will probably do.

One or some of these options would be a nice answer:

1. A list of self-improvement companies that have financial/business
information available. And where to find the information? (Is it a
public company, or is there a means to finding private information
without substantial cost? <$50)

2. Companies you believe would be best as a comparable for analysis.
If their are no public self improvement companies, or no financial
information is available for private companies.  What comparable
companiy type do you reccomend? (given im comparing a small startup
private equity firm, in online product sales and service sales)

3.  Or if I'm incorrect and their is a directly related dating company
that has financial information available, this would obviously work as
well.
