I realize that it's probably way too early for this to be available, but is there somewhere online that I can see or hear Deval Patrick's victory speech (the one he gave tonight, not the one from the primary)? A video would be my first choice, but even being able to listen to it again would be great. Failing that, where can I find a transcript of the speech? |

Wow, the Internet is amazing. Deval Patrick's victory speech has already been transcribed and posted online. Here you'll find a transcript of the speech: The Boston Channel: Deval Patrick's Victory Remarks http://www.thebostonchannel.com/politics/10269014/detail.html A video of the victory speech is here: The Boston Channel: Deval's Victory Speech http://www.thebostonchannel.com/video/10269477/index.html My strategy was to search Google News with Deval Patrick's name and a memorable phrase that I remembered from the speech, "This was a victory for hope." Google News Search: "deval patrick" "this was a victory for hope" http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=%22deval+patrick%22+%22this+was+a+victory+for+hope%22 I hope this is precisely what you need. If anything is unclear or incomplete, or if a link does not function, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer. Best regards, pinkfreud |
