The west meaning: Europe (and European derived countries), America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.. In which ways did Aristotle influence western thought? Some ideas I'm looking for are: **formal logic**, psychology, biology, epistemology, ethics/politics. How are these sciences what they are today because of what Aristotle taught and wrote? |

I highly recommend this fascinating book: Aristotle's Children http://www.amazon.com/Aristotles-Children-Christians-Rediscovered-Illuminated/dp/0151007209 |
