This follows on immediately after the text I sent you 10 minutes ago. HELP please!

Hello, Leander1!

Here is the translation of the second part. If I may say so: The
author has an interesting way of using metaphors...

"However, Swiss design distinguished itself in respect of one
particular theme: The mountain. So many mountains in such a small area
can be found in only few other countries, and none of them has made
the mountains equally productive. The philosophers of the Age of
Enlightenment ? they all lived never or only temporarily, as refugees,
in Switzerland ? ignited the flame more than 200 years ago: After they
had invented the Noble Savages, foreigners started for the mountains.
A spectacular tale of gold-diggers had begun; spectacular, because the
gold wasn't buried in the mountains, but had to be invented as a
spectacle. It had to be built, arranged, advertised and displayed in
pictures."

Best regards,
Scriptor
