How many startups are there in the state of Washington.  I am defining
startup as: * - has product or service that has just gone (or is ready
to) to go to market
* - past friends/family and is now seeking traditional angel/seriesA

Ideally, you would share with me a methodology for discovering this on
my own.  Round numbers are fine, but should be based on supportable
data/logic.

Hmmm. Here is the dilema:

No way to search new corps in WA by date. Sole proprietor start-ups
are even harder to locate.
