Is it possible for an adult citizen of Saint Kitts & Nevis to be
adopted by a UK citizen living in England and if so, would this grant
the adoptee any UK residency or citizenship rights?

I'm afraid that in the UK a person may only adopt minors. It is not
possible to adopt an adult.
