Dear dprk007-ga,

The People?s Daily Online provides information on the Communist Party
of China (CPC), its principles, structure, and how to join. This
information is extracted from the Constitution of the Communist Party
of China, articles 1, 5, 6 and 7, which can be found on the second
link. I have also found additional instructions from 1976, but I have
been unable to establish if they are still relevant. See extract on
the third link but you need to read all the paragraph. Finally, the
experience of a student who was asked to enrol in the CPC.

?Chinese workers, farmers, soldiers, intellectuals and other
revolutionaries at 18 full years of age, who accept the Party Program
and Party Constitution, are willing to participate in one Party
organization and actively work in it, carry out Party resolutions and
pay regular Party dues, may apply for membership in the CPC.
An applicant must fill in the form for Party membership and have two
full Party members as sponsors. The applicant can become a full Party
member only when his or her application has been passed by the Party
branch meeting and approved by the Party organization at the next
higher level, and only after assessment over a probationary period.
Each Party member, regardless of whether his or her post is high or
low, must be entered into a Party branch, group or other specific
organization, and must participate in the Party's regular
organizational activities.?

?Constitution of the Communist Party of China (CPC) amended and
adopted at the 16th CPC National Congress on November 14, 2002.?

A Basic Understanding of the Communist Party of China 1974 - paragraph 147
?He must write, on his own initiative, his application to join the
Party. In writing his application, he must explain to the Party
organisation the knowledge he has of the Party, the motives leading
him to join it and his future intentions. At the same time, he must
clearly state to the Party organisation the origin, composition and
political history of his family and its main social relations. Some
comrades, for fear that their application will not be accepted on
their first request, thus causing them to lose face, become very
anxious and do not dare to fill one out....?

?How the Chinese Communist Party Membership Is Forced on Students in
China from Elementary School to University?

I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or the answer is
unclear, then please ask for clarification of this research before
rating the answer. I shall respond to the clarification request as
soon as I receive it.
Thank you

Oh dear, 007, I infer that you are thinking of leaving the wilds of
Canada and emigrating to a far off place.

Well Good Luck!

You have the potential to become a Great Leader.

I am sure that The Commies will welcome you on board but it might be
an idea to learn Mandarin and Cantonese first.

Dear dprk007-ga,

Many thanks for the tip. And yes, it wasn't exactly the most riveting
read in the world.
