British Gas gave birth to twins - British Steel looks as if it will be owned by India Actually I think you are using 'privitization' in a slightly unconventional manner. You are talking about 'de-listing' of Public companies. It is all about ownership, if you are a PLC then you have to worry about share price, if you are owned by one entity then it is a lot easier to keep them happy - well usually. My view is that privately owned companies can concentrate on what they are supposed to be doing rather than tarting to the press, public, stockbrokers analysts and fund managers. |
