I am needing help in the selection of a titanium alloy for the
application for a connecting rod within my team's racecar, what
"breed" of alloy is preferable for this operation. I am aware that
there is "beta" alloys and "alpha-beta" alloys for selection, but I
would appreciate help in narrowing down a titanium alloy that is
affordable, yet strong, and light enough for this car's connecting rod
application.
