I am trying to find the profitability of a specific brand (I'm interested in purchasing this company). However I am having trouble finding any financial information on the brand itself. The brand is owned by a larger company who owns many other brands. So they don't file a seperate financial analysis for each brand as far as I can tell. How do I find this information? I don't want to discuss specifics of the brand. I just want to determine where I can locate information of this sort. Where I started: - I checked LexisNexus, but they only seem to have info on the parent company. - I've checked EDGAR (SEC filings and forms) I'm not saying that these places don't have the information I'm looking for. I'm just saying I can't find it. Ex. Company A owns: - Brand 1 - Brand 2 - Brand 3 Company A submits financial statements that summarize earnings, taxes, profits, etc... Where can I get a breakdown of the financial info for Brand 2? Being that the answer to this question is probably a small list of websites I haven't set the price very high. If you feel this is unfair please let me know. |

Specifics on a particular brand are usually closely-guarded secret. You could probably bribe someone in the accounting/finance dept. of the company, but that would be ILLEGAL. |

Not quite sure how that qualifies as information...but thanks for the effort I guess. To clarify...I'd like to do all of this legally... |

If you would like to buy the brand; tell the company and they can furnish you the information. They will likely have you sign a confidentiality agreement and sow that you have the ability to purchase. Theyhave no reason not to share the information with someone who could make a bonafide offer. |
