Are television sets from Holland compatible with the television signals in the UK?

Televisions in the Netherlands use the PAL B/G standard.  Televisions
in the UK use the PAL I standard.  Although the standards are
different, most modern PAL televisions will work with both systems. 
If you are using the seperate audio/video jacks for signal input, then
it will certainly work.

I noticed that both specs are almost identical but for the audio frequency.
