I'm using mail merge in MS Word to send out a bunch of emails. Each email needs to contain a unique URL (from my datasource). My word doc is in HTML. I can easily replace the displayed text with the mail merge fields, but I cannot figure out how to replace the href text with info from my datasource. For example, I need to have a mail merge field in <a href='http://<<MAILMERGEFIELD>>.com'>Link</a> |

Hello zman771, Thank you for your question. Mail merges can be a real pain; there is one website I use a lot for this type of thing. One website has helped me many times when I have had this type of problem. Visit this website: Mail Merge Tutorial http://mistupid.com/technical/mailmerge/index.htm That should give you a complete run down of everything you need to know relevant to your problem. If you need any additional clarification, let me know and I'll be glad to assist you. --keystroke-ga |
