I need the count of restaurants in the 50 large cities of the U.S.A
The 50 large cities are http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763098.html
The answer should give the count of restaurants in each of these 50
large metro areas/ Cities.
I would need valid sources that were used to get the answer.

According to the Census Bureau, there are 14,590 restaurants and bars
in NYC in 2002 (the most recent year data is available).

I can direct you to a source of information where you can readily find
similar data for any other city in the US, including those on your
50-largest list.

Would that suit your needs as an answer to your question?
