Question ID: 783038
I am looking for specific descriptions on the dosing regimens for
Avastin in combination with chemotherapy in metastatic colorectal
cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. The information I am looking
for is NOT on the package insert for Avastin or the Avastin website.

There should be a separate description for each regimen
In mCRC:
Regimen for Avastin+5-FU/LV is ?
Regimen for Avastin+IFL is ?
Regimen for Avastin+FOLFOX is ?
Regimen for Avastin+FOLFIRI is ?
In NSCLC:
Regimen for Avastin+carboplatin+paclitaxel is ?

The following information should be included in the answer:

1. The dosage of Avastin and the dosage of the chemo agent(s) for each regimen.
2. The length of the interval between the dosing of the chemo and Avastin. (I
believe that they are "pulse" dosed, meaning one agent, probably the
chemo, is administered first, then followed up with a dose of Avastin.)
3. The number of times this "cycle" administered
3. The duration of the total "course" of treatment.

Each answer should look something like this:
x dose of chemo agent(s) dosed at day 1, x dose of avastin dosed at
day 14, duration of course of treatment is x months.

The answer or link must come from a reputable source, and should
represent the widely accepted/approved regimen, not an experimental regimen.
I am aware that the regimens are discontinued or modified if the
patient experiences side effects, or if the cancer progresses. This
information does not need to be included in the answer. I really only
need the specifics on each regimen. The answers can be as short as
possible, but include the information described above. Multiple
sources are not needed as long as the source used is reputable.

Thanks very much.
